Maria E. Harris

Youth football coach and mentor

  • 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
  • Los Angeles Boxing Gym
  • 1986 to 1996
  • English
I coached football at Los Angeles Boxing Gym from 1986 to 1996. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Maria

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
