I'm a badminton coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,300 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
More about Maria
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Maria: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
