I teach computer science at Orchid Secondary School in Brooklyn since 1981. Most days I teach teenagers, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about María
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to María: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me computer science in 2003 at Orchid Secondary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected
