María C. Lara
Badminton coach, Madrid Swimming Club

- English, Spanish
I've coached badminton at Madrid Swimming Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm still learning every day.
More about María
If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.
