María B. González
Teacher at Silverlake Middle School, loves early years
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- 1978 to 2005
- Spanish
I taught early years at Silverlake Middle School in Iztapalapa from 1978 to 2005. Most days I taught first-year students, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about María
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to María: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
