I've volunteered with Hope Mutual Aid from 1993 to 2001. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to María: A gift would go toward supplies for our weekly sessions.
