I've been a nurse for 47 years, most of them in palliative care at Boulogne-Billancourt University Hospital in Boulogne-Billancourt. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I've held a lot of hands. I wouldn't change a thing.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
