Margaret Nakato Ssemwogerere
Tabla player and teacher in Mukono
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Mukono Hope Quartet
- Since 1994
- English, Swahili
I'm a musician from Mukono. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Margaret
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Margaret: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
