Margaret Chebet Kessy
Calligraphy and mural painting artist
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 1979
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1979 at Little Cedar Grove Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Margaret
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
