Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇨🇦 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 2,440 people through Stonebridge Mentoring Circle.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Marcus: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first first-generation students job in 1999. I still have your notes. Truly.
