I taught history at Fort Worth High School in Fort Worth from 2001 to 2015. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
