Márcio Ricardo Duarte
30 years teaching art in Santos
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Santos Academy
- Since 1984
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 920 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

You taught me art in 2022 at Santos Academy. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.

I was in your teenagers class in 1986. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.
