Márcio Marcos Silva

Taught home economics at Mount Pleasant Grammar School

  • 🇧🇷 Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
  • Mount Pleasant Grammar School
  • 1982 to 1996
  • Portuguese
I taught home economics at Mount Pleasant Grammar School in Uberlândia from 1982 to 1996. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I had 490 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Márcio

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Márcio: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
