Márcia Rosângela Ramos
Coached cricket for 37 years in Salvador
- 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
- Salvador Football Club
- 1984 to 2021
- English, French
For 37 years I ran the cricket program at Salvador Football Club in Salvador. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
