Márcia Márcia Medeiros
36 years teaching religious studies in Santos
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Meadowbank Academy
- 1990 to 2004
- English, Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 590 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Márcia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me religious studies in 1999 at Meadowbank Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Truly.
