I coached hockey at Juiz de Fora Youth Club from 2017 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Márcia
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Márcia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
