Márcia Cláudia Alves

Painter, potter and teacher at Beacon Print Workshop

I'm a embroidery artist based in Guarulhos. I've been making things since 2013 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I run most mornings. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Márcia

I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
