I taught geography at Munich Secondary School in Munich from 1985 to 2014. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Marcel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Marcel: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
