My subject is nursing, and for 48 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Essen State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
