Blacksmithing, done properly
- 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Old Recife Trades Guild
- 1984 to 2012
- Portuguese
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1984 to 2012. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 730 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
More about Manuela
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Manuela: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
