Manuela Cristiane Almeida
Teacher at Unity Girls' School, loves social studies

For 28 years I have been the social studies teacher at Unity Girls' School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Manuela
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Manuela: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me social studies in 2014 at Unity Girls' School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won!
