- Bilbao Sports Club
- 1991 to 2009

For 18 years I ran the rowing program at Bilbao Sports Club in Bilbao. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Manuel
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Manuel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
