Manuel P. Contreras
Mentor in first-generation students and leadership
- 🇦🇷 Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina
- Rosario Community Trust
- 1993 to 2010
- Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 560 people through Rosario Community Trust.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Manuel
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Manuel: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
