I'm a woodcarving artist based in Los Angeles. I've been making things since 1984 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at St. Joseph's Gallery, which keeps me honest.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Manuel
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Manuel: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
