Manuel B. Gutiérrez
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Iztapalapa Shop
- Since 2004
- Spanish, English
I've worked in pottery since 2004. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Manuel: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
