Manuel A. Serrano
Volunteer mentor with Coyoacán Youth Network
- 🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Since 1985
- Spanish, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,850 people through Coyoacán Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.
More about Manuel
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Manuel: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first teaching job in 2001. I still have your notes.
