I've been a nurse for 24 years, most of them in intensive care at Salem Maternity Hospital in Salem. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
