Manoel Vieira
Rowing coach, Santos Community Club
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Santos Community Club
- Since 1979
- Portuguese
For 47 years I've run the rowing program at Santos Community Club in Santos. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Thank you for stopping by.

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

I still think about the rainy sports day. Best summer of my life!

You coached me in 1984. I still hear your voice on the sideline!
