I coached cricket at St. Joseph's Swimming Club from 2006 to 2018. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Manoel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Manoel: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
