Manisha Rana

Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices

  • πŸ‡³πŸ‡΅ Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
  • Kathmandu Trades Guild
  • Since 2006
  • English
I've worked in pottery since 2006. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 420 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Manisha

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Manisha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
