Manisha P. Grewal
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Repairs
- 1994 to 2002
- English, Hindi
I've worked in thatching from 1994 to 2002. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 350 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Manisha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
