Manikandan S. Prabhu
Spanish and English literature teacher, Durgapur
- 🇮🇳 Durgapur, West Bengal, India
- Durgapur Primary School
- 2011 to 2024
- English, Telugu
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Manikandan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me Spanish in 2012 at Durgapur Primary School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
