Manikandan S. Bhat
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Shop
- 1990 to 2016
- English, Telugu
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1990 to 2016. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,530 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.

What gifts mean to Manikandan: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
