Manikandan P. Swamy
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Hillcrest Repairs
- Since 2000
- English, Kannada
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 2000 in Madurai and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Manikandan: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
