Manikandan J. Warrier
Sitar and singing teacher
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- 1982 to 2001
- English, Telugu
I play sitar and singing. I started in 1982 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Manikandan
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Manikandan: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
