Manikandan D. Sastry
Coached football for 20 years in Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Ashford Athletic Club
- 2003 to 2023
- English, Tamil
I coached football at Ashford Athletic Club from 2003 to 2023. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Manikandan
If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Manikandan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
