Manikandan Babu
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇮🇳 Rajkot, Gujarat, India
- Rajkot Art Collective
- Since 1992
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1992 at Rajkot Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Rajkot Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
