Mandla W. Joubert
Environmental science and accounting teacher, Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- 1994 to 2005
- English
I taught environmental science at Oakwood Grammar School in Soweto from 1994 to 2005. Most days I taught primary school children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Mandla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
