I've spent 20 years as a lecturer in education at Pretoria State University in Pretoria. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Mandla
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Mandla: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
