Manaia Ranginui
Glass art and textiles artist
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- The Auckland Studio
- Since 1990
- English
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1990 at The Auckland Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Manaia: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 1995. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Cebu City.
