Mana Yoko Imai
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Crescent Workshop
- 1981 to 1995
- Japanese
I'm a tiling specialist. If you live around Shinjuku, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
More about Mana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mana: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
