Mana Satomi Masuda
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇵 Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan
- Since 1979
- Japanese
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1979. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 2,680 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
