I've been a nurse for 17 years, most of them in school nursing at Kilimanjaro Clinic in Kandy. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
