I've volunteered with Mount Pleasant Neighborhood Trust since 1996. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 21 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Malathi
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Malathi: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
