Malak Layla Belkacem
28 years teaching English literature in Zagazig

- Zagazig High School
- 2013 to 2023

I taught English literature and physical education at Zagazig High School, Zagazig. I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Malak
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Malak: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me English literature in 2019 at Zagazig High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Greetings from Mumbai.

You taught me English literature in 2019 at Zagazig High School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

You taught me English literature in 2016 at Zagazig High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.
