Maksym Boris Bondarenko
Geography and music teacher, Kyiv
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- 1991 to 2016
- English, Russian
I taught geography at Kyiv Academy in Kyiv from 1991 to 2016. Most days I taught Year 7, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 1,230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Maksym
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Maksym: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
