Majid Yusuf Yassin
Music teacher at Alexandria Secondary School, 1989 to 2020
- 🇪🇬 Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt
- Alexandria Secondary School
- 1989 to 2020
- English, Arabic
For 31 years I was the music teacher at Alexandria Secondary School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Majid
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
