Majid Nasser Kamel
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Highland Trades Guild
- 1981 to 2000
- English
I've worked in welding from 1981 to 2000. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 740 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Majid
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Majid: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
