I taught art at Andes Academy in Seattle from 1978 to 1991. Most days I taught first-year students, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
