- Since 2005
- English
I've spent 21 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Meadowbank Institute of Technology in Dublin. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I never raise my voice. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mairead
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Mairead: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
